If you’re not up on Azealia Banks yet, you should be. Earlier this week, she released her debut EP, 1991, which features four tracks including her debut single, “212,” and the stellar title cut. In July, she’s planning on releasing a mixtape called FANTASEA. Sometime later this year, the Harlem MC will drop her debut album, Broke with Expensive Taste. And, from the sound of things, we’re already thinking that we might have a star on our hands.

We understand why you might not be up on Azealia yet, though. After all, there’s an influx of female rappers, including Azealia, Iggy Azalea, and Kreayshawn, invading the game right now and it might be a little hard to keep up. So, with 1991 already in heavy rotation in the VIBE office, we decided to put together a list of the 5 Reasons We Think Azealia Banks Has A Very Bright Future Ahead Of Her.
